| need help posting my baby! Hey everyone- I'm new to yorkie talk and I really want to post some pictures of my little guy, but every time I try I get an error message that the picture upload has failed. I read a posting saying you should change the pic format (not to use JPEG) but I have a Mac and use IPhoto and have absolutely no clue how to fix this? Can anyone help? Thanks so much!!! |

| I'm really not very good at this but until someone else comes along... Are you sure that is the problem? When you go to manage attachments, jpeg is listed and I think I've posted my pictures that way. More often the problem is the pictures are too large and need to be resized. Did you make the pictures small enough?

With the picture open in iphoto, go under file and EXPORT. Depending on your version, it will either ask you to size the photo (make it 400 x 600 pixels) or to select the quality of the photo (medium). Export it to your desktop. It will come out as a jpeg, but that's what YT wants. Then attach it through "manage attachments" off a message. Let me know if that doesn't make sense, and I'll try to give you more information. I"m not on a mac right now, but I will be in 15 mins.

Because of my work I have a paid version of Photoshop, so would use that instead. Always learning something new | |
