| Quick question????? Mimi will be 1 yr old in 2 months and she has not had her first heat yet. Is this normal? |

| she may have had a pre heat ? That is a heat that the male don't respond too ?? or something like that. I would think she will soon though. there are tests the vet can run but can be $$$$$ |

| Thanks for the info....I was starting to worry. Another thing is that she's been humping Timmy alot...You think that would be a sign of her going into heat? I know lots of ppl say its a dominance thing. I also do not allow her to do that to him. So everytime I catch her she goes on time out. |

| I was concerned when my cocker was over 10 months old and hadn't had her first heat. I took her to get spayed and told them my concern and they told me that a lot of smaller breeds have a "silent heat" where you don't even know they are in heat and males don't really respond. Maybe this is what happened with your baby. Are you going to get her spayed?
