| Puppy Dreams Do your Yorkies have bad dreams? It seems like almost every time mine falls asleep he makes little wining noises and his legs move around. It's kind of disturbing... so I pet him and he wakes up but goes right back to sleep. |

| My dylan does, not all the time but most times, he makes the little noises you mentioned and jerks a little as well - it really looks like dreaming because I move like that if I'm in a dream and fall or step off something. They do studies on humans re dreams to find out which parts of the brain are in use and different parts of the sleep cycle so I wonder if they have ever done that on dogs ? |

| Dobby used to make the funniest sleep noises when we first got him. He would make this little tiny suckling sound while he slept, like he wanted his mommy's milk. It was so sweet. Now he'll do a running motion while sleeping sometimes. He must be chasing cats!!!!

| Sweet Dreams Yes, they have studied it and dogs go thru much the same stages of sleep as we do. Since they have the REM sleep, they figure they do dream. Here is one of many articles: http://www.pets.ca/pettips/tips-77.htm
