| whining Troy Troy whines to go outside. so i take her out thinking shes gotta go. NOPE. she runs around the yard playing. its kind of cold out. anyway Troys not ready to go back in. so i stand out there a minute or 2. so now i'm getting cold cause i thought this was gonna be quick so i don't have a coat on and i have thin sleep pants on... so i get her in and she stands at the door whining. or she'll go up to anyone and whine. this is EVERYDAY! i thought yorkies were house dogs? another thing she does. if my middle daughter sits on the floor she will attack her. but not in a bad way. she uncontrollably jumps on her, pulls her hair, and tries to jump to lick her face. and its only the middle one (the one pictured). what is that all about! |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Awww, she is still just a puppy Stedman did that too when he was a little baby - he would run and jump on us when we sat on the floor, and he would bite and try to chew at my hair if I had it down - and he always LOVED to chew on our hands He is still EXTREMELY playful, but he has calmed down alot. As far as your baby whining to go outside...do you have other dogs outside that she wants to play with?? Or does your next door neighbor have dogs that she maybe see's through the fence?? Maybe there is something out there that she is curious about that makes her want to go outside? If not, perhaps she just likes to go out there and run through the yard and play - they really ARE very playful at that age By the way, she is VERY cute!!

I have 2 other dogs outside, and when my little guy was a baby, he did NOT want to go potty when I took him outside either, all he wanted to do was PLAY with the other dogs I would have to make the other 2 dogs STAY (on the patio, or wherever) and I would have to pick my baby up and walk to the very BACK of the yard, or on the side of the house, and put him in the grass and just let him sniff until he went. I would be very quite and give him his space - so that he could sniff and "explore" lol - and ever so often I would say, "Stedman, GO POTTY" (using a stern voice) - and eventually, he got the hang of it! Good luck with that little cutie of yours!

THANK YOU for the compliment on my little guy - and that's funny because we DO call him our little "Stud-Man!" He's a sweetie, that's for sure!
