| This dog will NOT poop in the snow! Ok we had our first snow Gracie hates it. She will pee out there but she will NOT poop. Then I bring her inside and 5 minutes later, you guessed it, poop on my floor! Any suggestions? |

| Awwww she's too cold. (Does she have snow boots). I think she might get anxious due to the cold touching her and she just wants to run back in (where she is comfortable). My boy was the same, but lately he is tolerating the cold more. Just be patient with her. Jess

| Mine does the same-she hates to go in the rain also-lol. We are in colorado and have had snow after snow this month- I didnt realize she wasnt going outside until about 2 days after the snow had started. She went on my sister in law's throw rug on christmas eve (husband calls my yorkies rats and DOES NOT like them) I was embarassed... but-I took her outside on the concrete, where it was less than an inch of snow and kept telling her to go potty and she did... you might try shoveling (not sure how much snow you got) or rock salt or something to melt the snow and she will eventually get used to it. Our trainer advised us to take cut up hot dogs to treat Lucy for going outside in the rain-she really hated it at first-we also treated her when she would potty outside in the rain, and now we dont really have an issue unless I dont check the yard where she potties and there is a huge snow drift... this last week, where she normally goes-it was about 3feet deep-so no wonder she went on the floor.... |

| I wouldn't want to poop in the snow if I was a Yorkie! Can you imagine having cold snow on your bottom? I'd clinch up and wouldn't be able to!

| Hubby brings snow blower through family room from driveway to back yard to blow path for dogs. I ask "why? are you going through the house with snowblower?" He says "Because they need a clear yard to go potty and the yard is full of snow, it's easier to come through the house." I say "It's a snowblower, can't you make a path around the house? Or at least shut it off when you're coming through the family room? "He says "OH, I didn't think of that." Mine get a clear yard after and during each storm. And we're usually the first thing that gets hit when the storms come across the lake from Wisconsin. No trouble going potty outside here when it snows.

| During the blizzard I would go out and shovel a path to the grass every hour. It was a lot of work trying to keep a patch of grass cleared for them. Everyday we go out and clear a little more from the grass for them. They are sooooo spoiled. |

| I did a path across the deck and in the yard and it worked! This morning when she would not go I took her for a walk around the block and got her to go, on the sidewalk! At least it was not in my house! |
