| Oh let me pay him back.... I have an idea........ And it has to do with.........I mean WITHOUT....... Not a good idea to bred so early, or to breed a larger male......period |

| She is too small to breed and with a larger male, that is taking a huge risk. She would most likely need a C Section and that would cost more than what you'd probably get for the pups. I'm not a breeder, but my common sense tells me...don't do it! It isn't worth losing your dog, which could happen. If you need to pay your husband back, find other ways to do it, but please don't take a chance like this!

| Oh, your going to hear it for this one.. Anyhow, girl don't do it your baby is too small to breed to that big of a male and the first heat is not good, your female is still growing it's like a 13-15 year old girl having a baby they can do it but its NOT for the best... Hope this helps!!!

| If I were you I would step away from the computer and let your HUSBAND read and respond to this thread. He is about to get riped a new one! When you typed this question and read it back to yourself did you see anything WRONG with it? You or your husband don't know anything about breeding and he is willing to risk the life of your PUPPIE because he wants to get paid back?? Yorkies are not roaming wild dogs. There can be problems and complications that could cost you a heck of a lot more than he paid for the pup in the first place. Your pupppie could DIE!! Get your dogs fixed. And to puposely breed on the first heat on PURPOSE is criminal to me. We are not talking about a German Shepard or a Lab... but a 4lb dog that is still a puppie!! Now I know you came here to ask a simple question because you did not know any better so please do not take my statements as an attack but a plea to NOT LET HIM DO THIS OR PUSH YOU INTO DOING IT. Print some of the post here about breeding complications, what is involved the cost if something goes wrong and the death of puppies and mommies. Is he willing to bottle feed every 2 hours if mommie won't nurse or if mommie dies??? Are you?? If breeding her on her first heat was the price you had to pay to get her then you NEVER SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN HER. I know I am going to get chewed out for my attitude and manner and I accept that as long as you remember what I am trying to get you to understand. |

does he not realize that having puppies for one can be costly......i mean you DO have to take the pups and momma to the vets for ultersounds, shots, everything. Im not a breeder at all but i do know breeding a 7 POUND male to a 4 POUND female is WRONG in sooo many weighs! SOrry but your husband isnt for the love of the dogs...looks like a love of money... | |
