| should i be concerned I got Sassy almost 4 weeks ago. She wieghs 2lb 4 ozs. When i first got her her poops were normal and she was doing them several times during the day and she was sleeping all night in her create no problem she was such a good girl i could hardly believe it. Well we took her down to my daughters house last week on wed. for christmas. Thursday night she started with runny bowels. I had to get up with her 3 times during the night to take her potty and it was runny each time. Then friday she didn't go all day but then again about 12:30 at night the same thing happend again with getting up three times during the night and runny bowels she has continued on this pattern ever since. During the day she is fine. She eats good is very happy and playful. I just can't figure it out. I have not change anything that she eat's. Same food and treats. Nothing is new. Last night she did have a normal bowel movement first then the rest were runny. What do you think it is. I don't feel that she is sick because she is acting just fine and very playful not in any distress. Please let me no what you think. |

| hope your baby is fine now. Sometimes they get a little excited when they go out, and this may mess up her system a little. Or maybe someone gave her a little bit of something you would not have not knowing how sensitive their little systems are. If she keeps this up, I would take a sample to your vet just to be certain. Good luck.

| Maybe someone gave her a bit of food or she might've found something by herself, those little guys are into everything... I'm having family over right now and I watch Pepper like a hawk because the moment I lose guard he seems to chew something he shouldn't... sigh. I hope your baby will feel better soon

Donating YT 500 Club Member | We just went thru about the same thing (loose stools) with Ruby last week. This lasted for 3 days, the next day I was planing to take her to the vet and thankfully she was okay by then. I had been giving her some new food additive from Wysong, which was basically vegetable matter. I think it was too much fiber for her at once. Several months ago she had another spell like this, lasted about the same number of days. Because of the food additives and our previous experience, I wasn't so quick to rush her to the vet this time. Of course she was eating and playing as normal too. This has been a week though with your Sassy. To be safe you might call you vet and see what they say or take a sample in to be checked.

| Could it have been the difference in water from your house to daughter's? I know I find so much difference even from where we live to two miles away in town. It does not take much different to change a tiny Yorkie pups bm's but as long as she is acting alright, I would not worry. They will firm back up.

| stools Loose stools can be caused by worms.........had her stool checked lately? Most pups are born with hookworms, roundworms etc. You have to put the poop under a microscope to be sure (see the eggs!) Boiled white rice can help sometimes (mixed with baby food or canned) Hope the baby is doing well> Roxanne |
