| All Life Stage Food Chewy has started eating Canidae dog food. She ate the little sample bags they sent us.Now i am looking into what kind of bag to buy. The sample they send out is for all life stages....from puppies, adults, working dogs and seniors. What do you guys think about this. She is 8 months...is it better to keep giving her a puppy food or since she seems to like this one, should i just get more of the same kind. Thanks a lot |

| I would consult your vet. Is your baby done growing? Done teething? These things require extra nutrition. I give Gracie Natural Balance (all life stages) but mix it in with Ultra Puppy or Royal Canin Mini Puppy so I am sure she is getting good nutrition.

| Good Point! I dont think shes done growing because she just turned 8 months...and prob not done teething because she bites like crazy. Were going to the vet on Fri so ill definately ask. Im curious, does anyone else use Canidae all life stages? She was on Nutro for about a month and very itchy, now she has stopped eating Nutro completely so i decided to try Canidae. Hopefully the itching goes away...but if not how do they do a dog allergy test. I know this is a diferent question all together but in my case its connected. Is it a blood test? I think she may be allergic to something in my bedding or detergent? How do they determine? Thanks |

My furkids Donating Member | I just changed the girls over to Canidae...I also give them a little bit of the canned food with it...kinda like a treat for them. Canidae is ranked one of the top foods so I would think (and hope) it would be ok for both my adult and 6 month old.
