Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | SEQUEL ...SHOPPING WITH 2 Yorkies Chanel and Cheri Here. Our mom said it was ok to post. We only go to dog friendly places... but can share our shopping experience yesterday. We really had fun ....but mom said we have to tone it down on the happy dancing and skipping ...She said something about training classes. Do they have Training classes for Moms ??? We thought she was pretty well trained already. Anyway.....We thought we was bein really good....we rode in the big carriage for the 1st time and were making our cute 'nuyk nuyk' noises ...but people kept stopping us, so mom said we should walk....something about us having 8 good feet ??? THAT was big fun till we kept gettin tangled up in each others halters....THEN - We kind of tripped mom and she dropped all her stuff... that's when she said the Fun Day Out was gettin cut short - She said someone traded Yorkie girls with her and we were impersonators ?? What's an impersonator ??? Even though our fun trip was cut short - we got to see fishes and hampsters and BIRDS !! Oh wow - the birds were right in front of our eyes !! Mommy said we were REALLY good girls looking at them cause we didn't bark our butts off like we do at home ....we were even brave when a really big doggie came up behind us in the checkout line - mom scooped up up and made sure we were safe. It was pretty funny cause that's when she dropped her purse. We think that's why she forgot our FREE TREATS we always get.... we think just cause it's Christmas time mom was frazzled .... When we got home we heard her tellin Dad we were 'Two Little Yorkies on Crack' and she isn't takin us out again till she grows 2 more arms... Can humans GROW more body parts ?? we didn't know that We hope she grows them really fast cause we love going out.

| You girls sound like you had a great time! I hope you thanked mommy for protecting you from the big dog? The holidays will soon be over, the stores will be back to "normal" and mom will be okay. I am sure she gave you extra treats when you got home.

| Great story! Sounds like a typical outing with 2 Yorkies! ..... or on some of these outings I call them "Dorkies". Sounds like the girls had a blast! As I read before I decided on the Yorkie as the breed of my choice: " A Yorkie is ALWAYS looking for adventure. If they don't find it.... they will make one" Ain't that the truth!!! Great story..... I was picturing it episode by episode.... too bad you didn't have your camera along! Merry Christmas! |

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | Dear Chanel and Cheri ~ I am so glad you had a day out wiff the mom. Our humans do get stressed, though, when they try juggling things, and keep us safe when we are so very EXCITED! I have mixed feelings about going out, myself. Mom loves it when I can go - and there are always nice people who "ooh" and "aah" over me; but it makes mommy nervous when they want to hold me. I LOVE people. I do hope this works out, and you girls can figure out how to shop with Villette more - I kinda doubt she'll be growing more arms, though. I don't fink peoples can do that. *licks'n'wags* Abigail-Ceana

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Hi Abbies mom - Chanel here....Thank you - mom took ME shopping all the time and does take us together sometimes ...but we WERE extra excited yesterday. We keep hearin about the man in da red suit and were all wiggly cause of that...We promised we'd work on trying to control our excitment a little better - we love going places but our favorite place is home. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Hey guys...THE MEAN MOM HERE - not to be a bummer - but one reason I only take the girls certain places is it IS harder with 2....but also our trip was cut short because of some intense interest in my girls Since I live in Houston - I'm always leary of someone paying too much attention to them. I hate to stereotype people but it was so weird yesterday - 3 MEN at Petsmart were way too interested in my girls....you just dont see men doing that kind of thing. They'd been leaving when I arrived and all three turned and stopped and tried to talk to me - We just went into the store but I kept my eyes on them and they actually hung back ...they were still outside when I left which was really strange so I made sure we weren't followed by driving on side streets and watching behind me. and it's just plain SAD things are the way they are these days with small breeds. They just plain aren't safe anymore - it used to be bigger dogs you had to worry about... now it's PEOPLE too. They're stealing dogs like crazy in houston and it makes me sick.

| Of course you can come live with us! We'll take you to daycare to meet our friends but ya know what? You would miss your big yard too much so we want to come live with you and chase squirrels and spy on the neighbors! Our mom says she needs more arms too! Andddddd our mommy is leaving us today too! She said that when she comes home grandma will be with her but we don't understand why we can't go to the airport to pick her up. Hmpf! Maybe we can chat later when all the mommies are gone! Call us~ |
