| Is he Choking ? Hey Everyone Happy Holiday's! Just wanted to post this in hopes that someone can give me some advice. Ever since We got Buster, every now and then...usually when he gets excited, he does this weird noise and its almost like he cant ge enough air ? it usually will last for under a minute and I take him and hold him and try and calm him down and it goes away. Well....lately, its lasting longer and longer and this morning, he scared the heck out of me bc he started to shake a little. I called my vet but he is away for the holidays (of course). I dont want to take him to the emergancy vet bc they will tell to come back when he is having an episode. Can anyone give me some insight as to what this could be ? |

| Jewels does that when she gets excited and its reverse sneezing. Her episodes dont last long an she does not shake. I would have him checked by a Vet because it could be collapsed trachea. I think you can wait and go to your regular vet when he gets back though

| Well my pup makes a noise only when is playing with something it sounds like a STRONG WEEZING like from asthama but its just playful........if you little pup is doing it and shaking like he is cold maybe you should let the emerg. clinic watch him/her overnight or all day it may be expensive but sif you are really scared that something is actually wrong I would definetly consider it!
