| yorkie small claims court I just got home flipped on the TV 2:45pm the program Texas Justice has a lawsuite being tried....Yorkie title of the show "The imposter Yorkie" Broker vs buyer ...buyer thinks her yorkie isnt a purebred because his ears are not standing...she is suing for $613.66 all because the ears are not standing and he weighs over the breed standard, she does not believe Max is purebred! Max is an AKC reg. he weighed 6lbs at 12 weeks old he is now 6 months old and says he will weigh about 15 lbs grown...buye said she found out the broker bought two out of the local paper for $400.00 and turned around and sold her the puppy for $575.00 The judge just showed the pics of the mom and dad and said the dad is about the ugliest yorkie he has ever seen... then a yorkie expert comes on attempting to resolve the purebreed issue...A local vet...Dr Styles...is Max a Yorkie? Vet said a dog doesnt look breed standard when a breeder breeds two less than good pet quality Yorkies "this is what they look like" Broker won! its a purebred! lol too funny he was cute even with the floppy ears!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Poor little guy - I bet he's not ugly - and the ears not standing have nothing to do with purebred... but I bet that was an interesting court show - I like that Judge on Texas Justice ....I used to love those shows - but they can be a little much - there are some people out there sueing over the SILLIEST THINGS !! |

| Chalk one up for the broker! I'm glad they were able to do it without the expense of DNA testing. How funny. |

| I seen that show the judge asked her if she liked her yorkie she said yes and the breeder said some peole like yorkies with floppy years and then the judge asked the owner if she liked yorkies with floppy ears and she said no so i guess she actuakky doesn't like her dog. i think she should have done her research on the breed before she decided to buy on because most yorkie owners know that only the AKC standard of a yorkie must not exceed 7lbs but there are plenty yorkies that exceed this weight. |

| My yorkie, Lacy, is just over a year old and her ears don't stand up. When I bought her the breeder told me I can train them to stand, but I didn't. She was beautiful then and even more beautiful now. I'd love her just the same, with or without perky ears! |
