| Why is it.... Why is is that you can have a yorkie in the middle of a room with a HUGE PILE of terrific fun toys and in the corner of the room there is ONE forbidden object. The ONLY thing that catches your Yorkie's attention is the "forbidden". They are so like people! |

| Ain't that the truth?? I vacuumed earlier this morning & placed all of Muffin's toys in a lovely pile in their usual place. Does this interest her? Nooooooo. She spent her morning running around with a stray used Bounce sheet in her mouth & refused to surrender it. My husband just got it from her & claims he is now ready for a nap. C.J.

| I know what you mean! I think I might stop buying toys altogether -- a pair of socks and stray pieces of gift wrap seem a lot more economical.

| Maddie loves anything she can chew!! That includes her toys!! I am curious though, how do you keep your adult yorkies interested in toys?? Autumn could care less about toys (she is 3) and Gizmo is starting not to care either...she is 11 months. Gizmo's brother Max only like tennis balls...which he will toss and chase for himself and doesn't want to share with us humans!

she lives by this Yorkie Rule. No exceptions. If I like it, it is mine. If it is in my mouth, it is mine If I can take it from you, it is mine. If I had it a little while ago, It is mine. If it is mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way. If I'm chewing something up, all of the pieces are mine. If it just looks like mine, it is mine. If I saw it first, it is mine. If you are playing with something and put it down, it automatically becomes mine. If it is broken, it is yours (or Cheri's) | |

| Mine play with toys all the time. Gidget is just learning to love toys and she'll be 2 years old in February. They always want the one the other one has though.
