| I'm cracking up here!!!!!!!!!!! These girls are killing me! They never want to eat their dry kibble, I put out fresh every day and they get fed 3X a day, smashed up kibbles with some wet food and Missing Link in it. They were playing in the xpen and knocked the kibbles all over the place, so I removed the bowl. They are NOW eating all the food off of the floor!!!!!!! So, should I just pour some kibble on the floor from now on, or what?

| Buddy has this new thing where if I throw pieces to him outside the kitchen he will play like it's a game! He will chase each piece of dry food happily. He is a huge dork! Also, sometimes I do talke the dry food out of the dish and put it on the place mat - I think then he thinks I "dropped" it, and it tastes better that way |

| Hmmm....now that I think back, Starr used to take a mouthful of her kibbles and carry them to the living room, jump up on the sofa, and eat them there It must be a Yorkie thang

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | You know, it's funny...ALL of my dogs do this, and I have 3! In fact, I think the cat even does it sometimes lol. They will take a few pieces of food out of their bowls, walk away and eat it somewhere else, OFF THE FLOOR I don't get it - they are so silly!

| That same thing happens here ... and sometimes she jumps back from the kibble as if itz going to attack her ... then picks it up & throws it and chases it ... I also have noticed Monday will only stay on a carpet when she eats ... the tile is too cold for her I suppose. Yes, they are amusing little scamps!

| OK!! I have a theory ... since it appears that most of our little ones do this. I believe that it has to do with "if it's on the floor, it's mine!" I think instead of viewing it as food, they see it as something forbidden and we all know, if we drop it, they're gonna grab it! So ..... whaddaya think??

I completely agree with that! My girls do the same exact thing. When Chloe was just a baby, I had to put her kibble all over the living room floor just so she would eat.
