| New baby I have been looking around for another baby to keep my girl company. I havent been able to find another breed that I am as happy with as Yorkies. I did have my heart set on having another little girl but havent been able to find another girl Yorkie (Yorkies arent very common in Australia), The breeder that I got Bailey from has another puppy (from different parents) but it is a little boy....he is absolutely gorgeous! Those of you who have a girl and a boy...how have you found it? Any problems? |

| I have a boy and a girl and I absolutely LOOOOOOOOVE having one of each!!!!!!! My little boy is the most affectionate, cuddly little boy ever. I love how I can buy cute boy things for Hobbs and cute girly things for Hootie. I believe I will always have one of each...one boy and one girl. I just love the dynamic. The only thing I would definately recommend with a boy is getting him neutered early...no later than 6 months of age but preferably before then...to prevent him from marking and from humping things. |

| hi there thanks for replying. I was concerned about the humping and marking factor.....glad to hear that neutering early reduces this. He is ready to come home now (10 weeks old), I could have him as soon as friday! Soooooo excite |

| I also have a boy and girl. I have really enjoyed having one of each also. My husband doesn't like me putting bows in Jacks hair so he got Bella for me. Now I just have 2 dogs to dress up!!! Jack is 6 months old and is going to get neutered in the next 2 weeks. He doesn't mark his territory yet but I sure don't want him to start!!!

| When I posted originally in this thread I already had a little boy in mind...so it has moved pretty quickly. The same breeder who had Bailey had another puppy to different parents but I didnt know until I emailed her asking about advice on when I should get Bailey a friend. She emailed back with a picture and details about Cooper...and I was instantly in love. |

| I have an 11 month old little girl and a 16 week old little boy. I love having one of each. Lucy was jealous at first, but now they play together and I catch them sleeping together in one little bed all the time. Congratulations on your new baby Merry Christmas

| Cooper is here! He got car sick on the way home but perked right up and ate and pooped etc He is so little but deceptively heavy! Bailey seems to like him but she wants to play rough and he just isnt interested yet He is currently asleep at my feet...very sweet. |
