| After dripping ear drops The vet prescribed Siu Pao Oti-Calm when we first got him to clean up his ears. His ears are very clean and with no smell and I give him the ear drops once every week but he makes a big fuss after I put it in his ears..running the whole house and rubbing the side of his face all over the couch, the floor. Is that behaviour normal? He also loves to scratch his left ear. I am thinking it is either he loves to scratch or he has ear mites? But he has been on Oti-Calm every week since I got him. I don't understand??? Did I miss something again? Oh..I just changed his food to Cannidae..actually for a few weeks already gradually from Innova because he doesn't even want to eat them anymore. Does that play a role?

| It may just be the sensation. I HATE when water gets in my ears when i'm washing my hair, its such a gross feeling sometimes. And sometimes it doesnt dissolve and just makes an annoying bubble in your ear. It just may be cold and annoying. |

| His worms has cleared up and he is having a second dosage in like 2 weeks and a faecal test so I don't think its worms. I just don't understand why he make a big fuss every time I drip Oti-Calm in to his ears. Sometimes, I had to carry him like 30 minutes before putting him down so that he doesn't hurt himself.

| Maddie does that after she has a bath, even though I'm careful not to get water in her ears, I'm sure some does find it's way in. I'd think that he's just trying to get the wetness out by rubbing the side of his head...maybe it's a yorkie thing. I would think if he had mites, that there would be an odor or you would be able to see a brownish or blackish gunk in his ears.

Maybe he doesn't need them anymore. I had an ear infection once and had drops. They sting. I wasn't rubbing my ears all over the couch and floor but I wanted to.

| The vet said to finish the whole bottle and then to get a new one and then to continuously clean their ears every week to avoid ear infection. He said the Advantage Multi to apply monthly on the back of his neck in betwwen shoulder blade and Oti-Calm to drip weekly in to his ears. The strange thing is, he didn't tell me about the routine of de-worming once every few months. He thinks that the Advantage Multi is good enough to deter the parasites but obviously its not after him getting worms about 2 weeks ago. Does everyone else clean their Yorkie's ears weekly too?
