2nd puppy?? My little baby is only 13 weeks old (had her for 5 weeks) and I think I want to add to my little family...I want to get her a playmate so she doesnt get bored! I am thinking of getting a little black boy pomeranian. Do people think its better to add another puppy while young or should I focus on my little girl?

If you can handle 2 puppies at once, ide say go for it. There's 3 months age difference in my girls, i got Chanel when Chelsey was 5 months, it's the best thing i ever did. It's double work, but double fun too... Chelsey was already potty trained when we got Chanel, so that made it easier (she was fast) Chanel took a lot longer to potty train.

Thanks for the quick reply! Have just shot off an email to the breeder of the puppy I want...so we will see what he has to say about the pup. I dont want my baby to get lonely during the day when I go back to uni....so a friend would help. Pretty sure I can handle 2....although taking 2 to puppy school will be a challenge!

| If you have the time for two puppies, go for it. I got Lily my yorkie 6 months after I got my pomeranian. They have grown up together and I am glad I did it at that time. It gives each of them someone to play and romp with and they wear each other out so by bedtime they sleep like babies.

I think it's a great idea. I bought another puppy for Maizee to have companionship as well. She's even coming from the same mother of Maizee. I just have to wait until April until I can bring her home By that time Maizee will be about 1 1/2.
