| Soooooooo Funny.....!! I have just spent about an hour outside with all the dogs......Lil Bit (6 month old yorkie), Apple (1 year old chihuahua), and Lori (the aging greyhound)...the weather is great and the 2 little ones were having a blast just RUNNING everywhere... We just put in an above ground pool and deck last year and the ground around the bottom of the pool is clear (no grass) and leveled out about a foot from the base of the pool.....This area has turned into the "Little Doggie Race Track"..Lil Bit and Apple have begun RACING around and around and around.....It is the funniest thing to watch!!! Everyone who comes by wants to see them 'race' around the 'track'. And, Lil Bit is really getting rather fast!!!! I remember posting a question about her being "delayed" and so uncoordinated....! NO MORE!!!!! She honestly gives Apple a real run..... My problem has now become......do I plant the flowers and bushes and everything I planned to put out to make the pool area look nice???? Or, do I just let them have a "doggie track"???? If they hit those bushes going that fast I will be posting some kind of injury question! |

| Where can we place bets? I think if they continue to use it as a doggy track, that it might be safer to put off putting any kind of flowers and bushes around there. Unless of course they are very coordinated and don't run into things while running at top speed! |
