| What happened to Annika's ears? What could possibly happened to my baby's wonderul right ear . . . . they were always so perfect before she went into surgery for tooth extraction. Do you think it will stay like this forever or will it eventually go right back up. These were taken last sunday (2 days after the surgery) and yesterday I saw barely any improvement. I have already asked the VET but he thinks there is no connection to the surgery or anaesthesia . . could he be wrong????? She is still as sweet as can be though . . . . |

Do you sell those hairclips Des? I am going to start putting a topknot in Diamond's hair everyday if I can and I just bought a bunch of bows What if you try trimming the top 1/3 of hair off both ears? I just bought a battery operated shaver and a breeder told me if you shave the top 1/3 of their ears, it will be less hair on their ears which won't weigh them down...maybe she just has too much hair on her ears? Just a thought!

| Last Thanksgiving when Bailey had surgery, hers ears went down for a week or so. I'm not sure if it is because of Anesthesia or because she was in a bit of pain, but even now when she's not feeling well her ear/ears go down. Hope she is feeling better. Michele & Bailey |

| I think it is her reaction to the surgery and it will go back up. Jewels had one ear up one ear down when she was teething

| Sorry but that is funny. Poor baby is probably still feeling the after effects of her surgery. I'm sure those ears will be erect when she feels better. Give her a kiss and hug from Buddy. Carol & Buddy |

| I'm just guessing here, but because she had teeth extracted and I know that the muscles in the gums/jawline have a connection to the ears - this is a result of the surgery. Hopefully as her mouth heals, the ear will perk back up. She does look cute, though!!

| Oh I am so glad you all are so positive about her ears . . . . It has never been a problem until after she came home from surgery . . I too think it is temporary but was uncertain . . . maybe it will be completely errect by the end of the week. Lauren, yes I sell lots of the clamp style clips. They don't need a rubber band to put them on. They clamp to a bunch of hair so it really is a breeze to put it on and off She is wearing the standard hot pink flower clamp style clip - new item |

| Awww she's a beauty. I love her ears but I can see what you mean. I'm sure once she's fully recovered from her surgery her right ear will go back up.

| What size clip is Annika wearing in those pictures? I love it and want to order a few for my boys and saw that they make extra small ones. Would the small ones look less feminine? My yorkies are both 5 lbs. |

| Annika is PRECIOUS!!!!!!!! Look at her little bitty face! She is just too cute for words!!!!!!!! I bet if you shaved the hair off the tip of her ears then that ear would go back up. Annika has probably just gotten too lazy to put both up. |

| Maddie's ears flopped while she was teething and once when she was older...couldn't think of any reason why, so I shaved the tip of the ears and they were up again. A lot of hair can get pretty heavy on those little ears. Annika is darling!

| AWWW. That is just too cute! I would be concerned in your place too. I wish I could offer you some advice but I have never had this happen YET! Diesel needs 2 baby teeth pulled that I just discovered. I might end up going through the same thing. I just have to say that floppy ear and all she is just adorable!

| My little Yorkie went through all the "ear stuff." His were up when he was a pup - then up and down while he was teething - and then back up. But - then they both went down. I did trim some hair off his ears, and they seem to perk up a little (more could still be shaved). NOW - when he's just lying around - both ears are down. Sometimes - one ear is up. Othertimes (if I get his attention or he is excited - they both go up) SO - I think he just has lazy ears. They are down most of the time - but do go up when he is more alert or excited about something. ***** I am disappointed - and will shave some more hair off - hoping they will go back up. Personally, I like the ears up on little Yorkies. I think this is what makes them look like Yorkies. BUT - what we get is what we get..... right! And, we all know that they are just as loveable with their ears down as they are with their ears pointing to the sky. PS: I think your little pup's ear will probably go back up - Carol Jean |
