Help! Does anyone know how to tell approximately how big a pup might be full grown? I was told by someone that you take the weight of the pup and times it by 3 and so on but I can't remember the rest.

How old is the pup. One rule is to double their weight at 12 weeks. Or tripple it at 8 weeks. that should get you in the ballpark.

triple it at eight weeks then double it at twelve. it's a pretty good indicator but can be wrong sometimes.
