| How much time on average do you play with your dog Just curious. On average, how much do you play with your dog and how old is your dog? Rosie is 1 year. On weekends I play with Rosie for about 3-4hours total. On the weekdays a total of 1 1/2 - 2 hours of play time. On tuesday's and thursday's she goes to my neighbors and I think he plays with her most of the time she is there. She goes there for about 6 hours. I try to get her to play on her own the rest of the time. |

| My husband is lucky enough to be home all day with Cooper so he plays with him intermittently throughout the day...I play with him in the evenings when I'm home from work and a little in the morning before I leave. On the weekends I spend as much time as I can with him...we love to nap together on the couch and watch TV. Cooper just turned 5 months on Friday. |

| I have two so they play with each other most of the time. I do training exercises with them, and groom them and they sit on my lap, but actually playing, is very little. Like I said they play with each other. |

My furkids Donating Member | When I was working my Parents doggy sat Sadie for me so Mom and Dad would play with her throughout the day...They also have a mini schnauzer that Sadie would play with...not alot though Heidi(schnauzer) isn't a well little girl...When home hubby and I would take turns playing with her...she likes it when we would run after her around the furniture and on the bed...Now we have Lillie...she is now Sadie's playmate. The girls keep themselves busy with each other...they don't play with us alot anymore...but, they do like to lounge out on us! I just love em!

| I play here and there and now and then with my dogs....several times a day. Murphy, my Yorkie, has learned to make me play. This is something new he has begun to do..... He'll get a toy and then sit on my bed or the other side of the room and bark at me -- until I go and play with him. (And - this is a dog that is not a barker - he rarely barks.) So, when he does this - of course, I have to get up and go and play with him. This means we're playing more often than we used to - right? Carol Jean |

| I would say we are playing with Ben about 1/2 of the time he is awake. Not sure how many hours that would equate to but it is probably a lot. He has started playing more with the other two adult dogs so that may cut down a bit. But he still wants his humans to play too. He also demands it. Toy in mouth, he gives a little yip and it is quite evident he is telling us to get down on the floor and play. Who could deny that? He also likes his loving time -- a real snuggler. LOL -- So great to be ruled by a Yorkie baby!

| I play with Pepper in the morning, then I walk him (up to an hour), after I get back from work, I do my best to do the same... If I take him to work with me, we play throughout the day as well. On the weekends, I play with him unless I'm out the house trying to get errands done that I don't have time to do during the week ... I take him to special outings too... "mommy and me time". Everytime I watch TV I sit on the floor and throw his toy for him at the same time... If I wasn't multitasking I guess the day would be too short to have anything done.
