| Could we accidently hurt her? Does anyone sleep with their small yorkie in the bed with them? I am worried that we might hurt her by accident because she is so small (3.5 lbs.) and fragile. My husband is afraid that we might roll on top of her. Has anyone ever had a problem with this? If I don't hear any horror stories I'm going to let her sleep with us. |

| Kona is around that weight... Both she and Bernie sleep in our bed and they are up near our heads. I am one who moves a lot at night. They seem fine and seem to move with me They are pretty light sleepers so I think they are aware.

| Both of our yorkies have slept in the bed with us since the day we brought them home...one is 3.5lbs and the other is 2.5lbs. My hubby always worries about us rolling on top of them, too, but we've never rolled over on top of them. I think it is just our instinct not to roll over on them, you know? Besides, they know how to move! |

| Starr was 5 lbs, but slept with us since we got her (2.5 lbs). She mainly slept with my husband. It was so funny to watch, he'd go to roll over, and she would walk on top of him while he was turning over, like those lumberjacks do on those huge logs in the water :loltears We aren't letting Luna sleep with us until she can be trusted not to try to jump off the bed, or pee on it.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I sleep with Teddy. When i first got him he was so little that I was scared to so he slept in his bed but now he does, he's 4.5 lbs. But he started to sleep with me when he was like 3 lbs. I don't move much in my sleep so it's fine. If you move a lot I don't suggest it. |

| I just saw this and thought I would put in my 2cents! My furboy has been sleeping with us since he was 10 weeks old and he was only 3.5 lb. However, my husband is a huge man and when he is lying on his side Teddy snuggles right up next to him. One night hubby went to turn over and almost got on top of Teddy but I sensed it and moved him and quickly put my arm over him until I could get him moved out of the way. So since then I let Teddy sleep with us until I am about to fall asleep then I put him in his little pet carrier/bed right next to our bed. He seems content and safe in there but then I kept him in there at night for 1-2 weeks before I started letting him sleep with us. In the early morning I get him out and put him in the bed with us again. I just don't feel safe now letting him sleep with us all night..and I sleep deeper when he isn't in the bed. I think it all depends on your sleeping patterns and how comfortable you are with it. I have thought about moving our bed to where one side is against the wall so that I could put Teddy on the wall side next to me as I don't turn a lot like my hubby and that might be something I will do at some point in time.

| Both of our girls have slept with us from day one. I have not had a good night sleep since. In the beginning it was because they were so small I was always alert that we wouldn't roll over on them. Now that they are bigger, I don't have enough room, their bed hoggers. I told hubby we have to get a king bed so I can have more room. |

| Both of mine sleep with me. Adonis has always slept at my feet. Venus at my side. I don't know how they keep from getting squashed, but seems they know when to move. |
