| What to do?? Hi everyone! My little Peanut is now 8 weeks old, and he is wonderful!! We are working on housetraining with the wee wee pads and not having too many problems. Here's the main one and any ideas would be appreciated. There is one rug in my kitchen that he loves to try and go poo on. I always catch him and take him to his pad...he doesn't try to pee on it, it's a new rug (no animals have been on it before), we have no other animals, so I dont know what his fascination is with it. Should I leave the rug there and keep taking him away from it, or should I take the rug up for a little while and hope he forgets about it, or is there something else I'm missing?? |

| kinda like a male diaper you wrap it around their bellys with a maxi pad under it to keep them from peeing all over the place

My furkids Donating Member | I would say pick up the rug too. My little one does this and so does my adult...for the most part the use the pads but, they will still go on the carpet from time to time...These little ones are not known for being easy to house train......Good Luck!

| Put the rug away. And, don't forget that he's only 8 weeks old so if he potties correctly at all, you are waaaaay ahead of the game!!!
