| my puppy has been vomitting This morning i noticed my hampton had thrown up about four or five times . His diet has not changed i been giving him purina puppy chow since i had him, although i did buy the same brand of food, the package i picked up has coloring on the bits. Could the coloring in the food be the reason he's sick? even though i bought the food last week and now its just making him sick. oh and is there any remedy to calm a dogs stomach from vomiting? |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | IDK But Teddy has also been vomiting. He didn't today yet or yesterday but 4 days ago he did once, 3 days ago he did 3 times! and the day before once again. He went to the vet yesterday and I told them and they said that it could just be because he's a puppy ??? Also because he's a small breed and anything can upset his stomach. But he didn't have diarrhea or anything so they said he is fine. His diet has not changed or anything so IDK |

| Try boiled chicken and white rice. Cut the chicken up very small and mix it with the white rice for a couple of days. Check out the web site I gave you and get better food. Graudally add the new food to the chicken and rice until it is all food. Make sure you select a food with small kibble. I use Natural Balance Organic and mix about 1 tablespoon of chicken with it. Buddy gobbles it up. I boil boneless chicken breasts and freeze them so I always have them handy. The kibble is small for their mouths. Let us know how he does. Carol & Buddy |

| What does the vomit look like? If its a yellowish foamy looking vomit than its BILE. If Timmy goes on a empty stomach for more than 7 hrs he will throw up bile. So now I make sure to give him a treat right before he goes to bed so that he will not throw up in the morning. Also call your vet just to be on the safe side. These babies are small and we cannot take any chances. Timmy was really bad when I first got him and he started to dehydrate. They vet had to put him on IV fluids. |

I bought chicken soup for the dog lovers soul and hes been receptive to it so all the comments and concerns were well appreciated thank you. |
