| I was actually going to suggest that - leave two pads out for him at night. Either that, or try crating him for the night.

| I agree. I'd leave out several pee pads.

| Actually, I don't know if you have a washer/dryer in your apartment (I think you live in an apartment?) but I just moved into a new place with ensuite laundry and the first thing I did was buy a washable pee pad. They are more expensive (I paid 30 canadian) but you would save money in the long run. So far I've only managed to find ONE though - I'd like to have at least 2 so I can alternate them - as it is I'm still having to use the disposable ones. Anyways.. getting to the point.... the washable pads are sooo much better - they absorb the smell (you'd have to stick your nose right down to the pad to smell anything - yes, I've tested this, lol) and the surface dries really quickly. Oscar was the same as your guy and didn't seem to want to continue to use the disposable pads I had out if they had been used too many times - but with the fabric pad, he seems to have no issue using it repeatedly. And because there's no smell, I can leave it out all day and wash it at night. I don't know, maybe you want to try one out though...

| where does he sleep? I still confine my little gut to a small space at night. I take him out right before bed and then first thing in the morning. He doesn't go during the night. Does he have free roam at night? |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | This little furbabies can get a little delicate sometimes. My Bengi started to get like that a while ago, he didn't want to poop if there was pee on the pad, and stuff like that. I know that if they do that when you are sleeping there is not much you can do, but during the day, you need to try to catch them and show your disappointment. Our babies want to please us, they want us to be happy with them, the problem is that sometimes they don't know some things they do bother us. If you accomodate them too much, like putting more pads, or changing the pad after 1 pee, that's not gonna solve the problem, because they think everything is fine. But if you catch them peeing outside the pad, say "no no" or "ahhhhhhh" and them put them in the pad, eventually they will understand then still need to go there. Of course, you can't expect them to go there if it's too wet, but they have to learn to go if there are a couple of wet spots even if they don't like it too much. |

| He sleeps in the kitchen where i put a gate . I think i will go for 2 pee pads as washable pads are not an option for me ( i dont have a washer dryer in the apartment ) but i dont undestand his logic : if he pees on a pee pad once why he wont use it againg it's beyond me |
