| New pics! Hurt feelings Hi everyone! I decided to groom Trixie Bear myself yesterday. About 2 months ago Trixie got herself into gum and I had to shave her very short. However, I left somewhat of a longer face. Well yesterday I decided to trim her face as well and let all the hair grow back the same length together. Other then shaving I never actually tried to make a style to the cut and I was very proud with the way she turned out. I think she looks cute but I have family members with yorkies that are making some pretty rude remarks. I'm no groomer and have absolutely no experience. I was so happy and now I'm feeling like an idiot. I think she looks so cute and I know you guys will be nice and tell me something good. Last edited by Dina_Nichole; 11-09-2006 at 11:56 AM. |

| OMG she looks precious. I'm seriously not just telling you that to be nice, I truly mean it. You did a great job!! Don't worry I groom Coco myself and gave her a few bald spots in the beginning and got funny but rude comments occasionally, but I ignored it and thought YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS CAUSE I HAVE A YORKIE

| She really does look FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Her face looks absolutely ADORABLE!!!!!!!! I love the shorter cuts on their faces because they don't get water all over their fur nor food. You did a great job. I groom Hobbs and Hootie myself and man, they had a couple really bad haircuts when I first started. If they could ever have a haircut like this, I would be very pleased. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I agree with everyone and it's only HAIR !!! If you want to let it grow you can - and just tell them it hurts your feelings if it does - maybe they don't realize that ? She's adorable and gum is practically impossible to get out.... |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I think you did a great job. It looks pretty even. Maybe your relatives are making those comments because they think Yorkies' hair must be cut in a certain way. I think it's great to cut it in different ways, that gives them more personality!!!! anyway, they look cute in any haircut!!!!! |
