Moving...Help... I haven't been on here in forever. I check back every now and then but mostly in lurking mode. My husband and I have both taken promotions with the same company and we're so excited but I've been super busy lately. The promos include a move to Canton OH and next week we'll be up there for good. We don't have a house until next Wednesday and we're trying to figure out what to do with the pups. The original plan was to leave them with the inlaws (they're only an hour away) but my dh's grandpa went into the hospital and he's pretty bad off so I don't feel right doing that anymore. His mom says it's still fine but I know that she's got enough on her plate as it is. So far I've figured out that the Residence Inn will let us keep the dogs there, but we can't leave them alone during the day. Do any of you know of a doggy day care in the Canton Ohio area? I can't find one that is open monday thru wednesday of next week...ugh I hate not knowing what to do. Any other suggetions?

I understand your problem.... And - I'm sure you have tried the yellow pages - sounds like you have called some places. I think I would contact the Human Society in that area - they probably know of some places that might care for your pups for a few days. And - you might also call some vet's offices - they can often recommend boarding places for animals. Or -either of the above places might also some ideas where else you can call. I hope you find a place soon! Carol Jean

thanks Thanks all for your advice. I'll let you know what I find. I guess worse case I could still leave them at the inlaws...but I would hate to do that. Thanks again!
