| Coat problems I was just wondering, is there anything I can do with Nelly's fur to make it more managable? After a bath her fur is just beautiful, but the next day, it looks like I have not washed her in weeks. A friend of mine says she looks like a gremlin but I even think the gremlins fur is better looking. When she wears her pj's or gym suit the fur gets all tangled and has to be brushed right away or else we are in for some major knots. Is there a spray of something out there that can be used to make the fur look not so shabby looking all the time. Is there a special shampoo that can be used, help quickly please, the cold is here so she is wearing her clothing everyday and it takes about 1/2 hour or so to brush her everyday, I don't mind but she is not liking it very much. |

| Do a search on Cowboy Magic - it is fantastic for detangling and cleaning them up, especially after wearing clothes. Chris Christiansen also has a conditioner spray that works well.

| I recommend Cowboy Magic detangler & shine. Once you try this stuff you will never go without it. |

| PetSilk is a good shampoo and conditioner too! You can also use BioSilk (human product) on their hair for added shine and softness (helps manage it more too) - go easy on this...just a small amount will be enough. Cowboy Magic is WONDERFUL stuff! There is an Aussie 3min miracle conditioning mask (for humans) that someone had posted about awhile back....can't find it now, but it is here somewhere. You can use it, leave on for awhile and rinse off......or my groomer (old groomer) used an Aussie product in a packet that is a leave in conditioner...but for the dogs, she diluted it in a spray bottle. It smelled good and worked well (when we had a Shih-Tzu). The Aussie stuff are in the purple bottles (I think). All of these seem to help w/ static cling (from clothing) and hair getting tangled from wearing clothing.......

| Cowboy magic is great for mats. Showsheen hair polish works great after a poo.. It's for horses but works great on dogs too and keeps the hair silky. |

| It might sound weird but right after I take the sweater off Pepper he looks like a little hedgehog, the hair's just messy and tangled. And he has to put the sweater on at least once a day for a walk. When I tried to brush it right away, it's a pain, for both him and me. But I once let him be all messy, and the hair lied down after a while. When I combed him the next morning, it was very easy, no mats no tangles, seems like it streightened up by itself and the metal comb went through smoothly but in a few places... So I don't even bother combing him right away... It's really weird but works for me, also mist the hair with detangler or conditioner mixed with water, Cowboy Magic works great too.
