| I have never heard of freeze drying pets...When the time comes for Jager and Lady I will have them buried, if I own a home at that time it will be in the yard and if I am still renting I will have them buried in a pet cemetery...I had made this decision years ago when I got Jager.... |

YT Addict | Saw this done a number of years ago....Can't imagine picking up one of our baby's and having to dust it /vacuum them off like a statue We had both Lady Pricilla and Princess Tiffany cremated and their with us still right where they belong!

| I pictured the same thing....having to dust them off. However....at christmas you could give your kids a new meaning to getting a "stuffed animal"...I know..I know.... that was in bad taste but I'm sure someone was going to think that sooner or later. |

I agree, every time I looked over at my baby I would start crying. I would cremate mine.

| Personally it's freaky for me. I'd want mine cremated and have them with me at home (ashes).

| I'm seriously disturbed by this. Oh goodness, to look at them everyday and not be moving would cause me to be put in a mental facility. Heck no, I couldn never do it. Just my opinion |

| UMMM.... I will have to pass on the whole thing.. if and when mine go... they will have them buried in the back yard. So that my babies will always be where I can talk to them.. and they will be buried like me.. I dont' want to be cremated.. therefore I wouldn't do that to my babies... JMO. But Freeze drying pets.. man think about what that would do to the pet you still have... they would go nuts.. trying to figure out why the puppy isn't playing with them.... then you would have to take it to a PSYCO doctor! What will they come up with next! |

I would also have a difficult time looking at the freeze-dried "version" of any of my furbabies. Real-looking, but not real. I've always had my furbabies cremated.

| That is gross! I can't bear to look at hunter's trophies hanging on their walls ... can't imagine how horrible it would to see my baby sitting there like that!
