| Help me with my yorkie Okay, so I've had my yorkie with me now for about 10 days and he's been perfectly fine, until today. Today he is acting CRAZY. He usually poops like clockwork, but he won't at all tonight yet alllll he does is sniff...sniff the floor everywhere, all over, and I take him outside, and he'll sniff around out there everywhere, but never stop to poop. He's also very hyper and jumping all around and running all around and chasing his tail in circles and digging at everything.....and then he just goes right back into fast sniffing on the floor and I'll again take him outside and he'll just run and pull at his color and sniff and dig but never stop to poop! Help! |

| Well, I don't think so...he doesn't even try to poop, he doesn't stop and then strain, etc...he just runs around in circles acting like a cat on cat nip really....and then he sniffs the floor all over...all hyper, so I take him out and the he does it out there..acting just, crazy...like a cat on too much cat nip...and he won't poop and I'm exhausted *sigh* but like I said, he won't even STOP to TRY to poop... |

| Take him for a walk. Loki always poops after dinner, but sometimes it takes a while. Sometimes we have to go out right after he eats and I don't want him to have to hold it so I walk him. Within 1 block he poops. Guaranteed. Worth a try!!

| I took him on 4 different walks now, the shortest was 10 minutes, the longest was 45! He STILL won't even pretend to stop to poop *sigh* I know he's only 11 weeks old..but still, since the day I brought him home, he has never peed or pooped in his kennel, he does it every time I take him out... but on top of the not pooping tonight, the crazy way he's acting around the house...so hyper...plus now biting at my face, etc....I don't know what's gotten into him, it's worrying me. |

My furkids Donating Member | Try giving him a tiny bit of soft dog food mixed with his kibbles...this may help him to go...As for being crazy and hyper.....WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF YORKIES!! They do calm down as they get older..

| Fiber......will do the trick. Try missing link with a tablespoon of canned and he will be pooping soon! Also, my vet recommends libby's pumpkin. This makes them poop too!
