| Rocky's big day tomarrow I never thought I'd be posting a "I'm nervous about his nueter" but I guess I am. I called the vet office today to see if nutrical is OK because they wanted him to have a small snack before coming him. I also asked if when he had bloodwork done, if his liver and kidneys were tested. The receptionist put me on hold to ask the vet, and comes back and says "she (vet) is wondering why you even want to know" with an attitude like it wasn't any of my business! I just wanted to double check what all he had tested! So tomarrow I will meet with the surgeon when I drop him off. If I feel any negative vibes, I'm going to cancel on the spot. I understand it was close to closing and they were real busy, but her attitude was completely unneccesary. I just don't get it. I hear great reviews about this office from reliable sources, but my experience with them definitly hasn't matched up to what I hear. Maybe I AM just being over-concerned, but when it involves my baby there really is no such thing. Hopefully all will go well when I meet the surgeon. On a brighter side, they are going to use iso! So now I just gotta see how his liver and kidneys are...then hopefully all should be good. Anyone know of anything else I should be concerned about with him? I'm so worried. I've never worried like this with a pet being nuetered..then again I never heard any horror stories involving it until I got Rocky. Please keep Rocky in your prayers tonight. Thanks.

| I will pray for all to go well for Rocky. I will say a prayer for you too, because I know how hard it is to go through this. We all worry ourselves sick when it comes time for any sort of surgery on these precious pups. That was rude of your vet to answer you as he/she did. My vet is always happy to answer any questions and explain things and not rush! Best wishes to you and Rocky from Maddie and I!!!

| He's there I just got back from dropping him off. When I dropped him off the receptionist asked if I wanted to speak with the doctor, then she's like "actually the doctor wants to see you"...So I spoke with her and she said they are using iso because it's a cryptorchid (I coulda sworn before she said they dont) so I'm really relieved with it. His liver and kidneys are fine, and he only needs 2teeth pulled. It's going to be a long day with out him here. I can't wait until 5 when I get to get him! I'm feeling much better now than I was last night though.

| Thanks everyone! My worries are gone. His surgery was going to be between 12-3 and they said they'd call if theres any emergencies. It's 3:30 and no phone calls! I slept from like 11-2 also, that kept me from going crazy. I even dreamt that Rocky was in bed with me, and I could feel him walking around on the pillows. It was one of those dreams that felt real, and the only reason I don't THINK it was a dream was because when I went too look at the time I had trouble opening my eyes. 1.5more hours and I get him!

| Update He's home! He's soo drugged up though. When they brought him to me he wasn't even excited I tried to get him to give me kisses, but none so far. I was just so happy to have him back in my arms. Right now he's sleeping in his bed in my room. When we got home I put him down and he walked right over to his tent, but we got company so I thought it'd be more peaceful for him upstairs. Anyone know how long it'll take for these drugs to wear off him?

| I'm glad your baby is fine. Jerome had his surgery 2 days ago and he is acting like nothing happened to him, if I didn't see his stitches I would think that he didn't even had surgery. They also pulled 2 of his teeth and he got the microchip too. Your baby is going to be better as tomorrow you'll see.

| I just read this!!! So glad everything went will with him! YAY!!! I think the vet seems rude......my vet is always open to answering any questions........I don't know if it is because she is generally nice and loves all the animals or if she knows it brings more money in or what?! HA! Anyway, I feel that it is the vets job to answer any questions and concerns from animal parents....no matter how silly the question is and no matter what kind of day they have had.........I probably would have went somewhere else! I'm a freak though!!! I told one office that the office staff plays a big part in how I feel about the place and is one of the first impressions........ Well.......I am soooooo very glad he is going good!
