| Kitty not acting right..... Kitty is sleeping alot. She's been doing this all week. I took her temp. and it was 99.9. I don't know what to do. She is eating and drinking normally. She just isn't her usual hyper self. She doesn't even want her tennis balls. Not sure if I should take her to the vet or not. We had a long weekend in Tx. and didn't rest much and then I got this new pup and maybe it is a combo of being tired and moping because of the new pup? I really don't know what to think. Anyone have any advise? Thanks!

| A new puppy can do that. Has she been spayed ? If not could she be going into heat? My guess would be the new puppy and the busy week you had... Hope she feels like herself again very soon...

| If she's eating and drinking thats a good sign... Pixie went into a serious depression when I brought Paris home.. lasted weeks.. she slept, no toys, no trests, no bully sticks... nothing! she was just depressed! And she would have nothing to do with any of it.... I thought she has mono!!! lol But she was fine... Her temp was low for that first week and then was normal.. my vet said stress. I took her in... I thought she had some sickness! But it turns out she just had a grudge and was pooped.

| I really hope you all are right and that it is just her being depressed. I'm really worried about her. She is not spayed but she just had her heat about a month ago. So I don't think she's coming back in this early. Usually when she comes into heat she is really playful and bosses the others around alot. If she doesn't seem to get better I may go ahead and take her to the vet. I talked with my husband earlier tonight and told him about her and he told me to take his little princess to the docotor just to make sure everything is ok. He really loves her. It is hard on him to be away like he is.

| I don't live on base so I don't really know the answer to your question. My husband is in the National Gaurd so he's not always off playing army man. lol He has a full time job too. That is why money is tight when he's away on active duty.

| Sounds like a combination of feeling tired after a busy week and depression with the new puppy. If you doubt, call or take her to your vet. Hope you baby will feel better real soon, i'm sure she will be ok. Please keep us posted
