My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Tia's vaccine update Well we gave Tia her first round of vaccines last night and so far............. NO REACTIONS!!!! YAY! I do have a couple questions....how long before I can take her outside??? Poor girl is 16 weeks old and has been qurrentined to one room her who life. (she has a cleft pallate and just made it over 2lbs) Also, I think the syringes we have are too big. They are a 22 gage but even my husband thought they were big. Poor baby yelped What size do you use??? I beleive I've seen 25 gage. If anyone can tell where I can get a smaller syringe I'd so much appreciate it. Thank you! |

| Tia is such a cutie! I have always been told that they should wait to go outside until after thier 3rd set of shots. Mine always stay on house arrest until after that 3rd set. Having delt with parvo a few times in the past I am always more than careful. Kim and Teddy |

| thanks for the update I sure appreciate the updates you give on your sweetie. As you know, I'm going thru what you have. I'm at 5 1/2 weeks and just started anti-biotic treatment. You get so extra protective of them, don't you! I've learned more from you and had better guidance than anything I've gotten from either vet. And it's helped keep me positive, which is much of the battle, as we all know that dogs pick up on your feelings and thoughts in a heartbeat. I have days too when I just cry, but your posts have really been an inspiration to me. Little "kick start" (her name since before birth, lol) loves your goat milk recipe, too!! Keep the info coming, ok? |

Anything I can do to help...I'm there!!! Oh I know...there were many days I just broke down and cried and thought of just giving up. I'm so glad I didn't! To look at her you'd never know what she had been through. Tia LOVED the recipe and plus it has 11 calories per CC rather than 1 calorie in the store bought. It was so hard getting her to gain...she kept losing weight! I'm grateful for resources like YT because with Yt we all learn from eachother. I don't know what I would have done either without all the help I got! | |

I have followed your posts on her growing and your love and committment to this little beauty shows what a wonderful furmommy you are. These tiny little ones and the joy of watching them thrive is amazing.

| I haven't heard of puppy suringes, I know that 31 is the finest gauge there is for insulin, but I am not sure what the requirement is for different vaccines. Apparently with the finer gauge, the longer it takes to inject. More cc's = bigger gauge as I understand it.
