| Cut My Babies Ear Some of you might have read this already ...But I have to VENT.. My regular groomer is retiring and I tried a new groomer. Many said she was good and nice.. Well she cut off the tip of my babies ear. So much that the bleeding would not stop and she had to call the vet.. You can see the cut off ear.. If I wanted to show her.. I can't now.. My Baby is OK but, she is very scared off anything like a brush..etc... I have to start all over again to get her un-scared of grooming.. But here is the real BEEF... She did not call me and she charged me...full service... My husband picked her up ..If it was me I would not have paid her.. I want to get my money back and tell her a thing or two.. But my husband wants me to let it go...forget it.. SHOULD I ?? I do understand that dogs move and things happened.. But she should have called me and not charged me a thing.. she didn't even tell my husband she was sorry..OR ME.. SHE SAID.."That was the first time she cut a dog" I do not believe that SHOULD I LET IT GO??? It has been a week now.. __________________

| I would definitly try to get atleast SOMETHIN G back. Rather it was her first time or millionth time, she messed up and needs to take responsibility for that. My question is, how hard was she cutting in order to snip off part of your baby's ear? I'm sure she couldv'e felt it in the siccors. I hope your baby's going to be OK.

| I would go back to her and give her a ear full, then I would put it in the local newspaper. BAD groomer.

| OMG she charged you ! my kodi was cut once they tried to hide it with a bandana . I saw it and went back to the groomers and talked to the owner who refunded my money and also paid the vet bills. The groomer was fired and as of today I think she is still out of business. Also I Do human hair for a living I have never really cut and one but one time my trimmers niped a neck. The person said they didn't even feel it but I Would not take monr for the hair cut. that is just good busniess. I would get my money back and spread the word. also report her to the bbb if she wont refund. |

| I agree with all of the above! She should NOT get away with this!! Charging you for this and not even an "I'm sorry". No way, at the very least she would get a piece of my mind and my foot

| Poor baby She should be held accountable.......at least a portion of the grooming charge should be refunded and the "whole" vet bill should be her responsibility. An apology is also due to you for the injury she caused.

| She should have paid the entire vet bill. Dogs do get knicked occasionally (try grooming a dog with very sharp scissors and a moving target) but cutting of the end of the ear???? Grooming should have been free and vet bill paid...as a grooming trainee I would have been more upset then the owner!!!
