| I have little pigs for dogs! LOL Hi everyone, this is just for laughs. Just curious but does anyone else have a yorkie that seems to be eating all the time? My two yorkie girls seem to be eating continuously. The one is 2 lbs. at 1 yr. 7 mths and the other is 5 lbs. at 1 yr. 2 mths. I leave food out 24/7 and the vet says their weight is perfect for their frames. Just to give you an estimate I fill a normal size bowl twice a day for these two little girls. I'd say together they eat about 2-2 1/2 cups a food a day. My pekingese who is 12 yrs. won't touch his food unless mixed with meat so I prepare his food for him twice a day. He eats 1/2 a cup of food with some meat twice. He can eat the hard food thats out but never does. This is funny but I have to put him in my bathroom by himself to eat because my girls would other wise eat his food. He would never try to stop them I have family members and several friends that have yorkies and none of them can believe the way my girls eat. All of them say their dogs take a bite here and there throughout the day. To top it off they want everything that I'm eating. They go crazy when I'm cooking and its like they've never seen food before. Unfortunately, I'm such a push over when it comes to them and if I'm eating cheez-its (my fav.) they always get a few. I really hope thats ok. Anways, I even had them checked for worms because I was so paranoid and the vet laughed at me. So I guess they're just happy little BIG eaters!! HEHE I was just curious if anyone else has big eaters like my girls. It just amazes me that such small things can keep eating like that. LOL Hope this made you laugh |
