| Is she pregnant??? I'm brand new to this site and I happened upon because I'm very confused if my 1 1/2 year old (Paisley) is pregnant. I bred her, and if I'm correct on the day I think they actually mated, today marks Day 63. I've been convincing myself that she is pregant, and then that she's not back and forth this entire time. She's 6.5lbs, and she didn't get much bigger, which is the main reason I didn't think that she was. But the reason I started thinking that she was pregnant was the change in her temperment. She's always been a very calm dog, but in the last 2 weeks she hasn't wanted to leave my side and would much rather lie in my lap and sleep instead of anywhere else, which is very unusual. She's usually very independent. She also vomited the "yellowish foam" I read about, and she does have milk. I started checking her temperature last night, and it was 99.4, then it droped to 98.8, but just now it's back to 99.8! I'm so confused...Can someone help?? |

| Hi and welcome to YT! If your little one is pregnant you should be feeling the puppies move at this point.

| Well I just got back from the vet (a different one from the first visit) and he confirmed that it's a false pregnancy. We're a little sad, but a little relieved as well because I was afraid for the puppies' health if she wasn't showing and the vet also said she didn't have enough milk to nurse them if she did have some. But thank you all for your help! I will definitely be using this site often!! |
