Eww, I yelled, grabbed her, put her in the tub, washed her, brushed her teeth, conditioned her, and brushed her teeth again. Ewww, she better never do that again. I am seriously sick, and my husband is laughing his a$$ off. He thinks she is nasty and I'm crazy, but what would you have done. I am so freakin out, that is just too nasty. My goodness, I even cook for that little sh!t head and she just had to go and do that. | I think there must be something wrong with her cuz that can not be normal. Do you think I should call the vet tonight or wait til morning? Girl, if she ate horse poo I think I would have died of a heart attack.

| OMGosh, they just told me that MANY dogs eat poo, wether it's their own or another pets. That if that behavior continues I can buy some kind of powder stuff from the vet and put it on the cats food. That it will make her stop. That is just gross, I am NOT waiting for her to do it again. I am going to get the powder and the cats box goes downstairs. I think my poor little gross baby has issues..

| My dog did when he was little. When i called the vet and asked the told me to go to the store and get ACCENT- its in the spice isle. Sprinkle a little on their food everytime you give them fresh food-worked for me!

| Several and I mean several dogs eat cat poop, they love it in fact!! You want to know why they do this??? You know how dogs love eating cat food?? Well, dogs having incredible senses, can detect your cats undigested food and nutrients in your cat's poop. It is called Coprophagia. You can get tablets to give your dog to stop this behavior, you can sprinkle stuff on your cat's food and I heard you can give your dog a small can of pumpkin and this will stop it too. I have never really had this problem so I don't know how well these things work. Here is a link to some tablets... http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...N=2026138&Ne=2 My cats' litter box is upstairs. The stairs are gaited off so that the dogs can't go up there but the cats can jump over the gate with much ease. It is disgusting, but fairly common. Nothing to panic over unless your cat is very ill and can pass the disease to your dog by the dog eating the cat's feces.

| You're thinking like a human. It isn't gross to them at all. Gus ate our other dog's poop a time or two when he was a puppy. I trained him to stay away but mostly I think he grew out of it.

| Chachi used to sneak and eat the cats poo and one time he threw it up all over the place now that was gross. I was so glad when he quit doing it.

| I can't even bare the thought of her liking it. Last night I moved the cat box down stairs, and put a gate up, (not that any of my girls would actually go down steps on their own LOL) and I am going to pick up this food powder stuff this am.... I just really hope she doesn't do that again.
