| Home-made pet stairs Yea, here I go again!! Just because I can sew things, sometimes without a pattern, seems this last 6 years, I think I can do the same with carpentry, lol. Made these this afternoon. My bed is kinda high, and Adonis can get down and up fine in the daytime, but he wakes me up walking around the bed on the wood floor, trying to get back up when its dark, after we went to bed. Ok, this thing is quite sturdy, the way I made it. The wood...your going to laugh....I took apart a chest of drawers in TX so I could get it in my Corolla and bring home. I never put it back together, and that was 2 years ago! Sheesh after this long....made good steps for the bed! Now to teach Adonis how to go up and down them. Working with treats, and not having luck. Still not sure whether to stain them or carpet. Hummm....thats later I suppose. |

| Thank you! I like to think I'm the only female carpenter, lol. Least it turned out better than the pen I made, that Venus kept climbing out of! |

| Nice! I like the ones with the removable (washable) covers on them, but I think they would look good stained too! I need to get another set....I have the 3 step ones for the couch, but need to get a 4 step one for the bedroom. Great job!

| Thanks Potter, I didn't think about the "grip". Might stain the sides, and carpet the steps! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Great job! My husband made mine for my last yorkie and we now use them for Cali. He made them wide so she can lay on either stair. He carpeted them and Cali lays on them all the time.

| I bought the 3 and 4 step plastic ones. but up stairs in the bed room I made some from plywood. I used an old sheet to cover it. I cup up pieces and stapled to the wood. I also padded the whole thing with batting. you did a good job. If I were you I would use the carpet on the steps. I was affraid of spinters in the paws.

| Great job! I can't tell you how many times I have had to improvise to make things. It's amazing how ingenious we girls can be when we have to.
