| I've Hired A Marine to Train Simon and Hallie http://www.yourpetstrainer.com/About___/about___.html Ok so I met him at the daycare and have been at my wit's end with Simon's barking at other people/dogs and him pulling on the leash so I decided to attend a workshop by Joe on Saturday morning. My neighbor (who has a doberman/lab mix-Charlie Brown) and I talked to him for 3 hours and he is going to come to our apartment on Thursday nights at 6pm and train all 3 dogs. Of course he will train them individually and upon successful completion they will all have their AKC good canine citizen certification. I am so excited and so relieved that I have finally done something. Of course it's hilarious to think of an ex-marine training my little yorkies but he is very good with them (I've seen him with them at the daycare). Maybe Simon should get a camo outfit? hehehehe I'll keep ya'll updated of our progress.....wish us luck |

| Wow a Marine huh that is great. I wish I knew of someone like that to train Chachi and Jewels. I have the same problem with them barking at people but they have gotten better at times. Keep us updated on how it turns out

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ok... you never answered me when I asked if he was CUTE. and Simon - you tell that mommy of yours that you don't need no stinkin bootcamp ! Just kidding - I can't wait to hear how this goes...maybe your Marine can train Hallie to have fun in Day Care and come out of her shell a bit ?? I always want to go scoop her up when I spy on her - and I know it's so good for them to be there.... Simon - tell your mommy to get you some really cool Combat Boots and a little GI-Joe hat...that Marine will melt right into his polished boots when he sees you all decked out....You'll be training HIM in no time....Can we say ......MORE TREATS Please ???? don't forget to SALUTE too - and NOT THE 'ONE PAW' Salute either ! |
