| I am not a professional dog trainer but I have taught obedience classes and I do teach all my dogs' obedience myself.

My furkids Donating Member | This is kinda long.....sorry Thank you for responding.. Sadie is 2 1/2 yrs old...I got Lillie 9 weeks ago (she is 17 weeks old now). It took Sadie a few days to get used to her new fursister. When I was working my Parents did doggy daycare for me...they own a sweet Schnauzer (female) Sadie got along very well with Heidi. As Sadie began to grow she would jump on Heidi if Heidi ran to greet someone at the door, if someone came into the driveway, or just walking up the road...Then all of a sudden if Sadie heard dog bark, car, anything she would hunt Heidi down and attack her...Heidi being so sweet natured wouldn't fight back...The other night at my Parents my daughter brought over her 2 goldens....there was alot of ruckus going on in the kitchen and Lillie started barking..(My mom had Lillie and I had Sadie,,,,didnt' want them to get stepped on) we were all laughing to hear Lillie...she had never done this before. My Dad let the goldens out...Mom put Lillie down and when I put Sadie down she ran to Lillie and attacked her! I mean, Mom and I ran over to them yelling to make Sadie stop! Mom picked up Sadie and she had Lillie by the scruff of the neck so, Lillie came up off the floor too! I was SO MAD AT HER! I yelled at her, told her she was bad and told my Mom to put her down and walk away...When we came home she was fine..she was playing with Lillie like nothing happened...I left the girls with my Parents yesterday and Sadie attacked Lillie AGAIN! 3 times!! My Mom wasn't home so Dad had to block off the kitchen...this time Lillie (blocked in the kitchen) was eating and when she was done she started to bark and scratch on the cardboard...Dad let her out and Sadie attacked her! The poor little thing was crying so hard...I am planning on calling a trainer tomorrow to see if it is too late to bring Sadie for obedience training or if this will even help....I am at my wits end right now...I would NEVER even think of getting rid of either one of them...and I know they will have spats from time to time but this attacking has got to stop...any and all advise will be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance!

| I am a little confused, who is Heidi, is that the schnauzer?? It sounds like your Sadie has dominance aggression. She goes after those who she knows she can control. Heidi being submissive and Lillie being a puppy makes them easy to dominate and perfect targets. I would suggest taking her to a trainer so that they can observe Sadie and how she reacts that way they can figure out the best way to correct it. This will be a harder thing to overcome and will take alot of time to correct it, but it can be done.

| how is it going with the fighting puppies? I am a die hard dog whisper fan and he is on discovery channel I believe but when a dog attacts he makes the one who is attacking lay down and the one who is being beat up on stand over the other one until the one laying down relaxes he states its what they do when they are in a pack. if you havent had any luck try it.. it worked for us.
