| Update on Cordelia *Read bottom post for update* Here is the story if you would like to read it http://yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5526 Well she started throwing up at the vet. They called and said her stomach is sore so they are going to test her for Parvo and Giardia. My concern I haven't taken Cordelia in 3 weeks for her last round of vaccinations. When I took her to Man's Best Friend the form I filled out asked for my vets information so that they could have them fax over her medical records. I haven't called the vets office back yet, but I will ask them if they faxed them that information. If I find out that they never requested information for Cordelia then that means that they don't do it for all the other dogs. I was told by Man's Best Friend that Cordelia needed to at least have her first two rounds of puppy vaccination. I'm so upset. Please please pray that she will be ok.

| Cordelia's Mommy, I will definately pray for you and Cordelia. I'm assuming Man's Best Friend is an away training camp for puppies?? Is it possible Cordelia's little tummy is upset because of an abrupt change in food? I hope everything turns out OK. Bo sends kisses!

| I missed the first thread too. Poor Cordelia, hopefully it is something simple and she will be back to her normal self soon.

| I hope she is doing okay. Cosmo was tested for that and he did not have Parvo but he did have Giardia, I know it is hard. My prayers are with you and I hope that everything works out. PLease keep us updated. If she doe have Giardia you will have to give him a tablet (well small pieces of it) called Metronidazole twice a day. Sorry i am babbaling I will stop now.

| i would be soooooooo mad if she caught somethign due to their negligence and i read your other post about the hot dogs when they are only supposed to use positive reinforcement GRRRRRRRRRRRR this really gets me because i dont feed toby ANYTHING but his dog food and his treats (greenies and PLAIN cherrios), if a trainer didnt follow those simple rules i would be VERY upset.... ok.... now that my concerned anger is out of teh way.... is she trained at least???? |

| Cordelia is home now. The test for Parvo and Giardia came back negative, but she does have gastroenteritis. I have to give her an antibiotic and a parasite medicine for 5 days. I also have to feed her a bland diet, like chicken and rice. The vet also told me to give her Pedialyte popsicles. I made her chicken and rice last night and she loved it. She did have diarrhea this morning, but the vet said that would happen. She did play for a while and was acting like herself again. I want to thank you guys for praying for her and keeping her in your thoughts. I really appreciate it. What caused this was MBF gave her different kinds of puppy food than what she was use to eating and was also giving her hot dog weenies. Plus on top of that the stress of being in a new and different place. My fiancé will be calling MBF today to let them know what happened and how upset we are about the treats and the food they were giving her. We clearly wrote (I have a copy) to feed Cordelia Lamb and Rice Eukanuba puppy food.
