| Dick's sporting goods I took Logan to Dick's sporting goods on Tues. I don't normaly, but we had to run up to this strip mall to exchange some shoes & go to petsmart. My hubby decided he wanted to go in & look at coats, so I put Logan in his carrier with his head out. He acts like he can't breathe if you zip him in. Anyway no one said anything to us, but I got some looks from workers like they wanted to say something, but didn't know the policy. I just thought it was kinda funny. I probably won't take him again. However when I took him to Lowes everyone made a big fuss about him & stopped us to pet him & such, so Lowes is probably an okay place to take pups.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | it all depends on the management and the city where you live. If these are pet friendly, you will be allowed in more places. Some people that live in small town cannot take their babies anywhere. I take Bengi to a lot of places; I've been kicked off Target once. |

| On my first trip to Austin with Adonis, I didn't have a pet carrier, and at that time I couldn't afford one. We went in this gas station to pay for gas, and there was a long line. I had him in my arm, cause it was 98 degrees outside, and was no damn way in h*ll I was leaving him in the car. The lady started hollering for everyone to get out of the way, let the lady with the dog pay, cause dogs are NOT allowed in there! She didn't quit on me till I hit the door! Needless to say, before I went on my next trip to TX, I bit the bullet and charged a pet carrier. We DON'T stop at that station anymore either, unless he just has to take a good poop, on their lawn! Some places are friendly, and some mean as hell! But still, not leaving my baby in the car! We use the carrier now, I get stared at funny, but don't care. I know he's ok with me. |

My furkids Donating Member | I used to take Sadie EVERYWHERE with me...it's a little harder now that I have Lillie (16 wks) she isn't as well behaved as her big fursister. I went to take Sadie into Home Depot once and the person at the door told me I couldn't take her in anymore...They had an incident where and elderly man went into the bathroom (he had 3 Maltese NOT TIED in his carriage) and when he came out of the bathroom he was NAKED! they had to call 911 to get him help...when they tried to get the dogs they wouldn't let the people near them...this was a couple of years ago and my parents said they have seen dogs in there recently...I would also bring Sadie to Hancock fabric...I put her in the seat where a baby would go, I bring in a pillow or use my purse and clip the strap under her harness so she can't get out or fall out...I had brought her in a couple of times and people would oooo and ahhhh over her...one time that I brought her in a young girl (worker) told me that she didn't think dogs were allowed in the store,,,,I told her that she was my service dog! She left me alone after that...I really can understand not bringing dogs where there is food...Although I don't mind, people that are not animal lovers do...Of course a yorkie is so small you can just about hide them...but, I wouldn't want a mastiff that is drooling slime sitting next to me when he shakes his head...and if you let one in you would have to let the other in....JMO!
