Akc Do you have any information as to the names and numbers of the parents on a contract etc? With no info the AKC can not do much at all until you find the breeder and the breeder submits the litter application to the AKC...what about the breeders vet..perhaps they know where she went..good luck

I am sorry to say it looks like you will probably not be able to register them unless she does come through in sending you the application papers. Most breeders will have the application ready to send home with the puppy. You might be able to file a complaint against her with AKC??????

| Can you also go to the Post Office and see if she left a forwarding address? I don't know if they can tell you or not, but it's worth a try. What about asking her neighbors if they know anything about where she moved to?

I think if you mail a letter to the address and mark it Do not Forward, Address Correction Requested. It comes back to you with the forwarding address.

Sadly, it sounds like you got scammed. The lady should have had them ready for you when you got your baby...but I guess that's too little too late. I doubt you will be able to get the papers from AKC, but I would still call and report the incident to them regardless. At least you have a wonderful ball of fur to love, regardless, right?
