| Is is normal for puppies to hiccup? Hi everyone: I have a new puppy and I was wondering if it is normal for her to hiccup occasionally? It only lasts a few minutes on occasion, but I want to make sure it's not something more serious. |

| Escazu6 - I don't know if it's normal, but Ferdinand does it occasionaly too. It's pretty funny. If someone says it's not normal, it wont be funny anymore, but... P.S. I just moved to Arizona from Portland about 2 months ago!

| My pup, Irie, does it too. She is so little and sometimes her whole body shakes. It is kind of funny but I can tell she doesn't like it. I just assumed it was normal. Irie has done it about 3 times since I have had her (8 days) and mostly at night after her meal. I hope its normal...

| Howie used to do it when he was a baby. He's 7 months now and doesn't do it any longer. He also stopped doing it around the time that I switched his food from Eukanuba to Chicken Soup. Not sure if there was any correlation there though! But, yeah, I think it's pretty normal.

| Gracie has done it several times. She seems to be growing out of it. It is kind of scary until you figure out what it is!
