| Pet Store has made me depressed I think I may have found a good breeder to get my yorkie from, but before I put down my $$ to reserve, I just wanted to be sure I wouldn't get a huge allergic reaction to yorkies (I haven't spend a lot of time with them before) and so off to the pet store I went. I wanted just to cuddle a pet store pup for a few minutes to see if I'd break out or start wheezing. Well, the good news is that I was fine allergy-wise, but the state of that poor little pup that I left in the store absolutely broke my heart. I left that store both depressed and mad as hell that they are propagating puppy mills so blatantly. This pup was the absolute worst example of a puppy mill puppy that I've ever seen. His back was hunched, his tail wasn't docked, he was skinny, his hair was stringy, he had bunny rabbit ears (HUGE!) and he didn't stop trembling the whole time I held him. Poor thing was terrified. I went home and cried and prayed for him. I hate pet stores In case you haven't read this before..."10 reasons not to buy from a pet shop" http://hattrick-dals.home.att.net/10Reasons.html |

| Yes it is depressing to go in a pet store that is why I do not step foot in one that sells animals. Our local petsmart do not sell dogs so I can go there. The last time I stepped foot in a pet store I was soooo mad and had to speak my mind out loud while talking to my fiancee and I know almost everyone in there heard me. |
