| I am finally back! Hey everyone it has been a while. I was so missing everyone on here and all of the great advice I get! We moved from where we was living-we spent $4500.00 this past winter there just for the heat! The house was poop and before we moved I went 2 1/2 months without a stove! The landlord would not fix anything! Well anyway- I need advice! HA HA, Prince has been running off at least 3 times a week and of course the only one he will come to is me, his mommy! Well I am real worried now because we have been at the new house for 5 days now and he has run off 2x already. The road in front of our house is a very very busy highway. I think I know why he is running away, he was trying to "mess around" with our boxer who is fixed. but it is getting so bad that my husband is now wanting to get rid of him. I try keeping a good eye on him but with 5 kids as soon as 1 of them go outside he is like a bolt and is gone. HELP!!!!!!! Also he has been potting on the floor again!

| What ages are your kids? If they're old enough, explain to them how careful they have to be so that Prince doesn't get out when they go outside. As for the pottying indoors, I bet it's because of the move. Maybe once he gets used to his new surroundings, he will be fine. Since he is having potty training issues right now, maybe you could keep him confined to one area and keep taking him out often until he gets back on track. That would help to solve both problems. Good luck! |

| This may really sound mean - but I doubt you'll have a problem for very long because your little pup is going to get hit by a car....especially with his getting out as often and as much as you say he does. Given your circumstances (with all the children) and the environment your puppy lives in (apparently no fenced yard) --- I'd find him a new home before this happens. It would be just awful. I would live in absolute fear of it happening....and it can still be avoided.. Good luck - Carol Jean |
