| molly has very fine hair We got our yorkie when she was 12 weeks old. She didn't really look like the other yorkie puppy I saw online. They were fluffy and full. The breeder said it was because she is a silky coat. She is now 5 months old and her hair hasn't grown very much.We love her just the same but she just doesn't much look like a yorkie. Does anyone else have this problem. |

| I do have a photo but I don't know how to post it. I know she is a yorkie, she is registered akc. She just doesn't look like most that I have seen. I have browsed around a little on this sight and have seen a few that do favor her. She is cute as a bug and sweet as can be. I wouldn't trade her for a million bucks. I just wondered if their were anymore like her and how they turned out as adults. |

| I have tried unsucessfully to upload a picture of Molly three times. I am not very computer savy. Thank you for your thoughts. I never thought of comparing their hair to humans. I am glad to know she won't tangle because she hates the sight of the comb even when she doesn't have tangles. |

| This is a current pic....five months old? I'm no expert, but she looks like she could be a red-leg yorkie, to me. Is her coat soft and silky to the touch, or wirey? Hopefully someone will happen on this thread that can address the issue better than I, but if not, do a search on it....there was a recent discussion. She's a CUTIE, by the way! Welcome!

| Connie, your baby is precious.... I myself have the complete opposite of the spectrum of yorkies... Hope has fine silky hair, is 3 1/2 lbs... Tootie is HUGE 16 lbs and has cottony, fluffy hair. They are both registered but are completely opposite. I love them both and it is actually fun to have such different babies. Good luck with her! d

| Thanks everybody for your thoughts. You all have cutie pies. Molly's hair is silky and soft. Not wiry at all. I am not sure about the red leg thing. Her papers say black and gold. She is 12 weeks in that photo. Thanks Jeanie for your help. Connie K
