I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Question about Missing Link Supplement? This is probably going to sound like a totally dumb question to most of you, lol...but I was just doing some searching on YT and saw that alot of people are using Missing Link. What exactly is this? I have never heard of it, until now. It is a type of Dog Food Supplement that you mix in with the regular brand of food that you feed them? Also, what exactly does it do? I understand it makes them shinier, but does it make their hair grow fast?? That's something that I want try and AVOID because Stedman's hair grows fast enough! I am always grooming him, lol. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks P.S.- If this does in fact make their hair grow, is there anything else that some of you could recommend that strictly makes their hair shinier, but won't add to the length of it? LOL Edited to add: Shoot, I probably should of posted this in the grooming section

| Here is information on Missing Link supplement from this website. From my experience, ML does not make their hair grow faster. It only makes it more shiny and their skin more conditioned. It is a powder substance that I sprinkle on their food every morning. My 2 LOVE the taste. The even lick the residual off the bottom of their bowl! The Missing Link™ is an all-natural raw superfood supplement, formulated with over 23 superfoods. It is designed to complete the diet of any companion animal, as it adds back those ingredients that are either omitted or denatured during the normal processing of commercial pet foods. These ingredients include essential fatty acids, fibers, and phytonutrients and are vital to maintain health, reduce skin itching, coat dullness, excessive shedding, and many other common problems. The Missing Link undergoes a proprietary processing method that prevents the ingredients from being exposed to heat, oxygen, or light and thus denaturing them. The Missing Link is made with only human edible ingredients and contains no additives, preservatives, fillers, or synthetic ingredients. Why would I need to give my animal The Missing Link? Commercial pet foods do not satisfy all of an animal's nutritional requirements. During processing, ingredients are exposed to heat, air, and light and become denatured loosing some of their essential nutrients, which were present in the foods raw state. This is why it is important to add a raw supplement, like The Missing Link, to your pet's diet. The Missing Link ensures they are getting all the required nutrients they need in their purest state. The Missing Link also complements raw food diets: delivering a synergistic blend of ingredients to the animal. If an animal is getting all they need nutritionally, it will be exuded in the appearance and demeanor. |

| all that above and it gives my dog such a shiny coat. Everyone complements my pup on her nice coat. Try it. A small bag lasts a billion years since you give so little. |

| Dosage on Missing Link The directions on my pouch of ML say ONE TEASPOON PER 25 LBS!!!! Please divide by your dog's weight. If they don't like it sprinkled on the food, you can mix it into wet food, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, applesauce, etc, and put it with their dry kibbles. They will always think they are getting a treat. I divide my proper dose between 2 meals. FOR FIRST TIME USERS: high fiber - start slowly and gradually build up to the recommened dose over 10 days. Tip: try to keep all your food in the original bags, or if you cannot, save the bags and pouches, etc. Most have lot numbers. You'll need this if there is ever a recall or problem.

| I give Scampers (5 pounds) half a teaspoon and give Destiny (4 pounds) 1/4 a teaspoon. It is enough for them as I can see such huge improvements in their coats. I felt a whole teaspoon was too much since they are not even half of 20lbs. It does say that you don't have to worry about over supplementing, so I would not worry about it too much.

| I just started ML about a month ago and I THINK her coat looks thicker. But don't forget it should be REFRIGERATED after opening. |

| It has been two weeks since I started Sissy on ML. I give her only 1/8 tsp at 4 lbs and have seen a huge difference in the texture and sheen of her coat.
