| Venus's first bath I thought first, I'd bathe Adonis, so she'll know its ok. He's very good in the tub, and really gets excited when I ask him if he wants a bath, as I'm gathering his shampoo and the blow dryer. He loves a bath. Got both dogs in the bathroom, and shut the door. Venus was like "let me see whats going on with adonis in that big tub". She'd look over the egde of the tub, and like she was laughing at him. She even chased him around the bathroom when I was drying him. I got her, put her down in the tub, and it was like "why was I laughing at him, this is NO fun, promise let me out, and Ill never laugh at him getting a bath again! " I want outta here! I did get her bathed, and dried about as well as I dry Adonis (which isn't like I dry my own hair). I don't get them bone dry, but they are not wet when they come out of the bathroom. I never hold them still while drying either. Let them roam the bathroom as I aim toward them drying. I get them at least dry enough to go outside, without shivering. She wasn't as bad with the dryer as I thought she'd be. She tolerates it as well as Adonis always has. He walks and I blow. Just wish I'd had the camera when I first put her in there! That look on her face was wayyyy too funny. She's happy now, like nothing ever happend. Maybe she'll be as good as Adonis is one day at taking a bath. |
