| Question on Diapers Hi there, I have a question. Has anyone needed diapers for you little furbabies? If so what kind did you use? I don't really want to spend 12.00 for 5 to 8 diapers for doggie diapers. I have been using White Cloud diapers size 3 for Babybear, but I find that no matter what size I get for him he pees out of them. Or should I say up them. I have tried to put them on backwards. I used to do this with my sons when they wore diapers because the back of the diaper goes up higher. It always seemed to work. With Babybear it is a little differant. Also has anyone ever used a onesie on their furbaby? I was told this is something that helps keep the diapers in place. If I get one I just don't know what would be a good size for him. He weighs 10 pounds. He feels like bones. Sorry I am used to him being 15 pounds. A big boy, but because of his neck surgery the dr's say not to let him get over 10 pounds. Reason for the diapers is because he can't walk he is still not walking. He is standing for a few minutes. I have wrapped the diaper around his body like a belly band but that doesn't help if he poops. I try to hold him,but I have to keep a wee wee pad under him just in case he leaks. Any suggestions will help. Thank you all. Val and Babybear |

| We use belly bands with disposable pads in them. We buy the Poise pads for adults as he is a HUGE marker. You can get anything from the cheap maxi pads at the dollar store or ones like we get, there is a large variety and range to choose from. There are several people on here that make and sell belly bands and there are a few threads about this issue that are current too. Oops just read that he doesn't walk - the above will not help with the poop issue, but I am unsure how to advise you on that. I am sure some other more experienced people will have more answers for you.

| Now if I use belly bands that isn't going to help if he poops. So where do I go from there. Right now I keep a wee wee pad under him and he has a diaper under him or on him. He pees up the diaper. He can't walk or move so these things don't go anywhere. But if I put him in his wheelchair I want to make sure it isn't going to stop him from tryin got walk. I might try the belly band thing though. |

| I think your best bet would be to buy a doggie diaper that is made for him. I know Rena at www.barkindogclothes.com makes doggie diapers and she can customize them so that they will fit your boy perfectly. They are great and only about $10 for the size you are wanting, shipping is always free if you live in the US.

| We put onesies on Emma-not to keep diapers on, but as PJ's to keep her warm, and we'll use them next weekend when she gets spayed to keep her from licking and biting at her stitches. She's somewhere between 4-5 pounds, and a 0-3 month size fits her well. Plus, they're really cheap-you can find them in packages of 5 for $8. I'd try a 3-6 on your 10 pounder! I would imagine this would help keep the diapers on well until your little guy is feeling better. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | when Kloey went into her 1st heat, I used premiee pampers, it worked wonderful, I secures it with white bandage tape, just wrapped it once around to hold it on a little better, if not her tail popped it off. |

| I'm sure by now you've found something that works... but, when Bernie came to us he was incontinent...both urinary and bowel. He had been run over by a car and had extensive nerve damage, a broken pelvis, leg, etc...Surgery had done a miracle and he could walk/run around, but he had no control over his bowel movements or his urine. (lol, he thought he was controlling it and would squat to poo, but that was the one time nothing came out). Anyway, most doggie diapers have a hole at the tail. That didn't work for us, and besides, Bernie's tail is so short... I found these: http://www.happyheinys.com/pocket_diapers.php and these: http://www.cottonbabies.com/index.ph...FQspFQodq2xueg Now, because the doggie anatomy is different that human anatomy, he still wore a belly band under the diaper. But this took care of both issues. (On a happy note, he's almost completely diaper free now. Once in awhile if he gets into the wrong food, poo starts to fly , so I keep them around) He still wears his belly band, and will probably have to for life, they said by now we would know. Anyway, I have read all the updates on Baby Bear. You are an AWESOME yorkie mom and your baby has won a place in our hearts! Keep the updates coming!!!
