| Yorktoberfest 2006 Hi, my name is Linda and I just joined this forum. As I was browsing previous posts, I saw some questions about Yorktoberfest. Since the event is coming up this Saturday, I thought I would give you all some information and hope that some of you can join us. Yorktoberfest started as a fun event here at my home near Annapolis, Maryland. The event has grown every year so this year, our fourth, we had to move to the Howard County Fairgrounds - just off I-70 west of Baltimore. There will be lots of Yorkies, lots of games and vendors and speakers. And of course a Halloween costume contest and to top it off, a parade of rescues as we honor those people we consider our rescue heros. The adoptive parents of all rescue doggies who needed a new home. So come join us at Yorktoberfest. This year will be even bigger and better than last year. It is on September 30 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. You can get more info at the rescue website: www.yorkierescueme.com. Click on the link for Yorktoberfest on the right side of the page. Hope to see you there. Linda and the Capitol 5 (my Yorkie babies) |
